About this Cook
I AM A MARRIED FATHER OF 2 BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS AND GET TIRED OF EATING THE SAME THINGS ALL THE TIME. MY WIFE AND I ENJOY TRYING ALL THE NEW RECIPES I FIND ON ALLRECIPES.ALTHOUGH THE GIRLS DONT USUALLY LIKE THE THINGS I MAKE. THEY ARE VERY PICKY EATERS
My favorite things to cook
SOUPS- EVERYONE ALWAYS RAVES ABOUT MY SOUPS! ANYTHING WITH SEAFOOD. I AM ALSO STARTING TO EXPERIMENT WITH ALOT OF THINGS I NEVER HAVE BEFORE. LIKE MEXICAN AND DIFFERENT WAYS TO USE VEGTABLES MY KIDS WOULD NORMALLY FROWN UPON.
My favorite family cooking traditions
DONT REALLY HAVE ANY TRADITIONS.
My cooking triumphs
went on a camping trip and brought along 2- 20lb turkeys and the fryer. when i went to hook up the fryer the valve to connect to the propane bottle broke. with no other choice besides letting the turkeys go to waste and 23 people go hungry i butterflied the turkeys and cooked/smoked them over an open fire. they turned out great
My cooking tragedies
THE FIRST TIME I COOKED A TURKEY I TOOK THE NECK OUT BUT DIDNT FIND ANY GIZZRDS. THAT IS UNTIL I WENT TO CARVE IT AND FOUND THEM. THIS WASNT REALLY A TRAGEDY BECAUSE IT DIDNT RUIN THE TURKEY BUT IT WAS SOMETHING THAT I DID WRONG.

Ground Beef Curly Noodle
This got mixed reiews. I made it two different ways. First, I made it exactly as written and 2 out of 3 liked it. I also made it vegatarian only subbing Boca crumbles for the ground beef and 1 of 2 liked that. I'm not sure if I will make this again.

Black Bean Rice Burgers
These were good but as written the would not stay torether. I added approx 1/2 cup bread crumbs. I think the sauce was very good and helped these out alot without the sauce they needed something else. I will be making these again because I have a bunch of the rice and bean mixture left that I am freezing.

Tex'n Melt'm
I made this tonight for a get together. It was devoured. I should have doubled the recipe. I used southwest style salsa and only half of the cheese (8oz). It was still really good.Added nacho cheese to the top of a little bit and it makes it even better. I will make it again. Thanks!
