Barley Salad With Almonds And Apricots
This was very bland. I added some salt and spices and that did not help. Tasted a bit like oatmeal with fruit. It might be good as a sweet dish adding more honey and no onions but there are other recipes that are better.

Tom Yum Koong Soup
This was great and authentic tasting. I doubled the lemongrass and used powdered galangal since I could not find fresh. I may have added too many vegetable chunks so next time I will reduce so there is more delicious soup. Really great and spicy. Make sure you have some tissues handy.

Moroccan Lentil Salad
Initally I thought it was a bit bland. So I added 1/2 chopped red onion,a little rice wine vinegar and a can of diced tomatoes. It was great on a bed of greens. Very fresh tasting.
