Very tastey! I made it for my family and my parents today. I used 3 chicken legs and 3 chicken thighs instead of chicken breast, I used skin on chicken, smoked sausage along with the chirozo, a huge pinch of saffron as suggested by another veiwer, and it was awesome! Thanks!

I had to double everything to the one pound of pasta. It seemed too "empty". After doubling, it was awesome! Loved it very much!!

Family Sicilian Sauce and Meatballs

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Hardy, rich wonderful sauce, we added 1 1/2c extra Pinot noir, also because we were short on time we pressure cooked it for 40 min, then finished simmering when we added the meatballs for 30 in pressure cooker. One of the better sauces we've made from this site

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
This was ok. I only used 2 large chicken breast which was pleanty enough meat. I used 1 can of cream of celery soup, 1 can of chicken soup, I also added other spices like others suggested, pepper, onion powder. I cooked for 60 min like other suggested and it seemed like the rice wasnt done enough and it also need more liquid so I added about another 1/2 c. of milk and cooked for another 10 min. My kids liked it, it was something easy and not bad just ok.

I made this in the slow cooker, just threw it all together and used dry beans. Served it over rice, topped off with some shredded cheddar cheese. My boys - ages 8, 5 and 2 loved it as well as myself!

Cherry Winks

I loved these! I only ate 2 and that was hard to stop, but I packed up the rest and sent them to Iraq and they all loved them over there. Very fruits and tastey I was told :) Thanks for the great recipes!! It took a while for me to prepare because I had whole dates and whole almonds that I had to cut up and the cherries as well were whole so it was a lot of prep work but yummy!

So wonderful! I used honey inplace of the syrup. Other than that, I followed the recipe to a T. I didn't find the need to double the sauce, we liked it as it was. My kids, ages 3, 5, and 8 loved it as well. Oh, and also, I used the 20 oz can of pineapple chunks.

Spicy Pork Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
This was very tastey. I omitted the chile oil and the chile because my son doesn't like hot food. Instead ofusing peanut oil I used 2 ts. of olive oil. Was a hit, I also only used 1 1/2 ts. of sessame oil because of the fat grams. My kids loved it.
