About this Cook
I have lived in the Napa Valley all my life. It is a wonderful place with such beauty and a great place for people who love food and wine!
My favorite things to cook
Stews and Soups. Wintertime comfort food. Learning more everyday.
My cooking triumphs
I had to do a food and wine pairing for my class of 45 people. I made braised short ribs in a Petit Verdot reduction. Used all organic and local product. Turned out fabulous. People asked if I was a professional chef. Me? A Chef? Wow!

Szechwan Shrimp
This was just ok for me. Nothing too exciting, but not bad either. A bit spicy, I like spice so it was fine for me. I added steamed greenbeans to mine.

Shredded Brussels Sprouts
I just chop them in half, don't shred and they are soooo yummy.

Aunt Jewel's Chicken Dressing Casserole
This was ok. It was really easty to make, but I think it needs veggies, maybe some celery and carrots chopped up and thrown in would help.
