About this Cook
I have lived in the Napa Valley all my life. It is a wonderful place with such beauty and a great place for people who love food and wine!
My favorite things to cook
Stews and Soups. Wintertime comfort food. Learning more everyday.
My cooking triumphs
I had to do a food and wine pairing for my class of 45 people. I made braised short ribs in a Petit Verdot reduction. Used all organic and local product. Turned out fabulous. People asked if I was a professional chef. Me? A Chef? Wow!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Good but not great. Needed more seasoning. I did add carrotts and potatoes.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
Very good dish. I served it at Christmas. Use only 1 cup of cheese, 2 is too much. I wouldn't normally say too much cheese, however...1 cup is enough. :)

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes
Don't cook it this way. Heat the potatoes with the cream on the stove first. Otherwise it won't cook through. Flavor was good, just wasnt cooked through all the way which was a big dissapointment.
