Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Way too salty and not enough water. I hate to have to change a recipe around so. I'm gona have to keep searching for a better pot roast recipe.

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies by EAGLE BRAND®

An excellent peanut butter cookie. i love a soft cookie and these fit the bill. Very flavorful too. Received many many compliments on these at Christmas. I did bake them a tad longer than recipe said though. It's a keeper.

Five-Spice Chicken Wings

These were delicious. Cooked perfectly. The only mistake I made was to get whole wings. Would be better with the drumettes. Am keeping this recipe for sure.

Creamy Kielbasa and Potato Soup

It has great flavor but next time as another reviewer suggested I will add a few more potatoes and some carrots. It did need more body. It was quite easy to throw together. Gona try the leftovers tonite and it will probably have even better flavor.

Deep Dark Old Recipe Bran Muffins

A nice bran muffin. I wished it was a bit sticky though. I thought the molasses might achieve that. Next time i will use whole wheat flour and brown sugar like a few of the others. I will keep this recipe but will go on searching for a gooey moist bran muffin.

I agree with a few of the others. So bland and definitely need more sugar. I'll keep searching. We were all very disapointed in these. Keep looking for a better recipe.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Very good and super simple to put together, however the cranberries are a bit tart so I put powdered sugar on top and next time some whipped cream.

Pineapple Sweet Potatoes

I'm sorry but i didn't geet rave reviews on Thanksgiving when I served these potatoes. I think a little more brown sugar and possibly mashing them. Just a pinch of all the seasoning was not quite enough. I'll keep up the search.

Carrots Au Gratin

Byrdhouse Dream Salad Dressing

I am sorry but both my husband and I thought it lacked something mainly flavor. I think it was a bit too oily. I doctored it up with a little salt and some regular dijon mustard and garlic powder. I would put more sesame oil in and less veg. oil. if I make it again.

Stuffed Peppers

I'm sorry but this recipe was not very good. the peppers came out still hard and the filling was tasteless. I remember my mom putting garlic and real chopped onion not powder in the filling. She also par boiled the peppers as well. My husband was so disapointed with this dinner. I'm gona have to stick with Mom's recipe.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

I'm sorry but this was just OK. The meat was so soft almost mushy. I think 10 hours is too long to cook it. There was a tad too much cinnnamon in it and carnitas is usually cooked with fresh oranges. We lived in California for many years and had some wonderful carnitas. It is always a little on the dry side. This really wasn't a true pork carnitas. I will keep looking for a better recipe for this dish.
