When I was 18 my dad was in the hospital during Thanksgiving. My Mom had already bought all the items for the dinner so my sisters and I didn't want to let it all go to waste so I made almost the entire dinner myself from memory and from that year on my mom has stepped aside so I could cook...I've been doing it ever since! Thanksgiving dinner, pot roast, ckn ala king to name a few family faves My first cheesecake was very undercooked even though I followed the recipe...I can't think of any others really.
