I've been a missionary for 12 years internationally. I have two children and a great husband. I enjoy cooking Cajun, Southern, and Spanish foods. People more times than not tell me I'm a great cook. I enjoy the compliments and try to please everyone every time I cook.

I enjoy baking cookies, cakes, and trying out new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas we all have southern dressing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, butterbeans, squash dressing, jello cake, etc..... Those from the South know what I'm talking about. lol
My cooking tragedies
I made "Arroz con Leche" for our Christmas party this year. Burnt the rice and was mortified. I made enough for 35 people. Had to rush to the store for more ingredients to make it again at the last minute. Turned out great the second time. lol
