Birthday Bones
We made these at my daughter's 5th birthday party (she asked from donations for the Humane Society instead of gifts so it fit!). They were GREAT! The kids loved helping mix them & cutting out the shapes. Each kid took one home to their dog & the rest went to the shelter. Big paws up from all dogs involved!

Pie Crust Treats
Thanks for reminding me of these! My kids loved to make them too! We used colored sugars & they were very festive! Also try turning a small, oven-safe bown upside down - then roll out dough large enough to cover it & brush it with butter & sugar - put it sugar side down on the bowl & bake. You'll end up with a sugary crusty bowl. These are GREAT to fill with ice cream!

Grandma's Doughnuts
This was my Mom's "recipe" too! Except we use the regular Pillsbury biscuit cans that come in a four pack. They're great! When we have guests I make dozens of these and serve them with a buffet of toppings... confectioner's & regular sugar, but also a cinnamin/sugar mix, apple butter, a sugar glaze, icing, and whatever homemade jellies or jams I have around. It's always a hit! Plus the kids LOVE to flavor their own doughnut holes! Oh yeah! If you cut them in strips & twist them they flip on their own just like the holes do!
