About this Cook
I am 27 years old and live with my husband and 2 young daughters in Massachusetts. My love of cooking began when I was a little girl and I would watch my Dad and the wonderful creations he made.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake new things. I also love to cook big holiday meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every hoilday we have a special theme to cook. On Valentine's day we cook a special family dinner, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween. Every one is special.
My cooking triumphs
Making a picture perfect chocolate mousse cake. Also when a loaf of bread comes out to perfection.
My cooking tragedies
Steak, I just can't seem to cook it right! I finally conquered this! Look up the recipe for Juicy Steak.. Broil them FROZEN! They come out perfect everytime!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans
This was great! I needed a quick and easy dinner for me to prepare and my husband to cook while I was at work. I had some when I got home and it was awesome! My husband and 2 daughters loved it as well. I omitted the onion because I didn't have any and used regular potatoes. Absolutely perfect!

Easy Pancakes
Mmm..Mmmm. I have been making these pancakes as written for about 2 years now but I went back and read the reviews and took the advice of using only 2 tsp baking powder and adding cinnamon and vanilla. Wow! These are incredible! I also added blueberries. The whole family gobbled them up!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy
Great! My picky 4 year old had two helpings! I tasted the gravy prior too serving and it was a little bland so I added extra pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to taste and that made it perfect. I also added some butter to the drippings before making the roux. My husband, 8 year old and 4 year old all said this recipe is a keeper! I served it with mashed potatoes and asparagus! Yum!
