About this Cook
I'm twenty-three years old and I love to cook for myself and others. I haven't exactly gotten to the point where I experiment a lot or come up with my own recipes, but hopefully I'll get better at that. At this point, I don't say I'm a good cook, I just say I can follow a recipe.
My favorite things to cook
I love making this simple lasagna recipe I found, and diner meatloaf "muffins". I made cinnamon buns from scratch once, which seemed so complicated to me but was so worth it in the end!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Oh gosh, I wish my famliy had some traditions.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made lasagna and was complimented on it! Those cinnamon buns too, I think. Everytime I try a new recipe, especially when it's something I've never tried, and it actually turns out how it should, that's a triumph for me! lol. My boyfriend seems to love everything I make, so that's all that matters, right? :)
My cooking tragedies
Oh gosh, my first meatloaf! lol. Apparently, I didn't have enough meat or I had too much of something else because it was just disgusting. Thank goodness nobody else had to eat it!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu
This recipe is amazing! I halved the recipe and made this last night. My husband and I LOVED it! I used only three chicken breasts (instead of four), but still used a whole package of chicken flavor stuffing. I baked them (rolled the chicken breasts) in a covered casserole dish for one hour. Everything came out perfectly! Oh, I also used turkey instead of ham. My husband told me to make sure I keep this recipe because he wants to make it for his family's Sunday supper sometime.. so that means it's REALLY good. This recipe will be kept close and made over and over in our home :)

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
VERY good pizzas crust, but like other reviewers have mentioned, it is not WHOLE wheat. I made this with the reviewers' suggestion of replacing the all-purpose flour with whole wheat, using 3-1/4 cups total. I also added a bit of dried Italian seasoning to the dough. I didn't prebake the crust as some reviewers suggested because I use a pizza stone. I put the unbaked crust on the preheated stone, topped pizza and baked for 10-15 minutes (depending on thickness of the crust). Yummy!
