Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread
I made this yesterday, and am now a big fan of this easy recipe. It yields a very nice, mild gingerbread. I don't care for very strong gingerbread, so I found this perfect just as it is written. But you do have to watch it carefully toward the end of the cooking time. An hour would have been too long in my oven; it was done in 50 minutes.
