Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Great salad. Everyone at the potluck loved it. For my own personal taste, I used one cup of mayo, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tbls of vineger for the dressing.

I modified for my own personal taste: Cooked in micro for about six minutes to soften carrots, used less oil, and used a little more brown sugar. I will cook again. Maybe next time try them with butter. A keeper.

Tex-Mex Pork

Meat had no flavor. The sauce didn't have enough flavor to save it. I served the pork on a bun with hot sauce. That didn't help so I added cole slaw. That helped a little. I would not make this again.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Very good!! For my own personal taste, next time I will not use as much peanut butter. Also, make sure you use a good quality ice cream sandwich. It really does make a difference.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I had never had can chicken before and did not like the taste. I took myself out of the rating and asked my guest to rate the dip. They said if I made it again they would eat it, but they wouldn't call and say, "please make that dip again." I plan on making it one more time and use chicken breast instead of can chicken. Maybe add some more hot sauce.

Received rave reviews for this recipe. I used Black Forest Ham and I felt it was too strong a flavor. Next time I'll stick to the boiled ham. Make this dish, you will not be sorry!

Like another review stated, something just didn't taste like it went together. The gravy was VERY salty. I love salt and couldn't eat the gravy. Sorry, but not for me.

Artichoke Chicken

Used a garlic clove instead of garlic pepper and it turned out well. Great idea for a recipe and I can see why a lot of people love it. However, not something I liked well enough to cook again.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

I used brown rice and it worked well. My only issue was, the cabbage was so well done, it no longer taste like cabbage. Next time, I'll do like another reviewer and bake them.

Upside Down Pumpkin Cake

1. Made this again for folks that have never had it and they were e-mailing for the recipe! 2. Everyone loved this. People were begging for the recipe. I made the cake in disposable 13 x 9 containers and gave them away as Christmas presents. 3. Again this year (2008) people were begging me to bring it to the Christmas Potluck.
