Doubled the recipe for a dinner party. Substituted vegetable broth for chicken to support vegetarian daughter and added less cheese than directed. Turned out great. All of the flavors married well. Reheated in microwave with extra broth the next day and still very good. Will make again using all of the cheese.

A coworker introduced our office staff to these little gems - they are great. She cut hotdogs in half and wraps the bacon around them and cooks them in the crockpot at work. Her method is to alternate layers of the wrapped hotdogs and brown sugar and cook them on high in the crockpot. She starts them around 8:00 am and they are done by noon. It's a long, tormenting morning when you are smelling these little babies cooking and waiting for lunch. We are all very thankful that she brings them to every office potluck.

Our family and guests love this recipe. I did add extra vinegar to make it more sour and onion powder to make it just right for our palates. It does freeze well also.
