I have been cooking since I took a co-ed cooking class in high school. I then worked in a couple of different chinese restaurants while in college.

New Yorkers love Italian and Chinese so I have learned to cook these specialties.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Get the whole gang together on a weekend in June and grill vegetables with chicken or shellfish and toss with pasta.
My cooking triumphs
Trying to find decent and inexpensive seafood. I got my brother to bring live lobsters from the coast one Christmas and made lobster bisque for the first time! Wonderful
My cooking tragedies
I can't think of any major tragedy but I have burned the grilled bread more than once!
