Made this in the summer when zucchini and tomatoes were fresh - it was delicious! Served it at an outdoor bbq party with ribs and chicken and there wasn't any left. Many guests asked for the recipe.

My husband prepared this tonight according to the recipe and it was excellent. We served it over white rice which complimented it well. this recipe has a slight "kick" to it, which we loved. It was very comforting on a cold winter night in the Midwest! We will definately make this again, maybe we'll try some of the suggested alternative ingredients.

This casserole set up well and has good texture, but it just didn't taste good to me. My husband said it was good, but not great. We cook alot and usually aren't disappointed in the highly rated recipes, but this one was a real disappointment. It simply lacked flavor.
