I am 23 years old and am trying to learn some nifty new recipes to prepare for my family. I enjoy cooking chicken, sauces, pasta dishes, and desserts :) My family occasionally prepares an arroz con pollo recipe that has been handed down by my grandfather. Any time I get a recipe right and we enjoy it :) Thinking that a box of cake mix only made one pan, doubling the recipe, and ending up scraping it out of the oven, lol. Also the times when I tried to make an alfredo sauce, two attempts: the first I was lazy and tried pre-grated paremesan and it turned out absolutely horrible. The other time I let the sauce boil too long, so it had cheesy granules in the sauce. Yuck! As a good ending, I did eventually make the sauce correctly :)
