Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
What a wonderful, different and refreshing recipe! I made this for my in-laws 4th of july party and to my shock, the people who normally detest fruit loved it! For the salsa, I had to omit strawberries due to allergies. I instead added drained crushed pineapple and peaches. The mixture will become watery as some reviewers noted because that is what sugar does to fruit. I cooked my chips about 5 minutes longer to make them cripier.
I am going to try something different next time. I'm going to use ramakins, spray a whole tortillia, cover it with sugar and cinnamon and bake it upside down on the ramikin. Hopefully, if it turns out, I'll add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top it with the salsa!
