Lance's French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
My french onion soup connoisseur boyfriend gives this a 5 star rating. So do I! I did tweak the recipe somewhat. I only used 3 large red onions, 3 (14.5 oz) cans beef broth, and used 2 teaspoons of sugar. I sliced fresh French bread, toasted it first and then soaked both sides in the broth. Instead of Swiss, I used deli sliced Muenser cheese. The white wine really made the difference. Thanks so much! Will be making this for my parents at a family get together this weekend.

White Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
I'm not a white chocolate fan personally, however, my boyfriend requested that I make white chocolate fudge for him for christmas. RAVE REVIEWS. I didn't try any of it myself, but it seemed to set up perfectly and everyone who tried it said it was the best white chocolate fudge they had tried. So on behalf of everyone else, I gave the recipe 5 stars.

Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
Awesome recipe! My boyfriend has been asking me to make coffee cake for months, so I found this one a few days ago and tried it last night. It came out amazing. It did rise a little above the bundt pan (by about 2 inches) but all the more for us to eat. Thanks!

Old Fashioned Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2005
I followed the directions exactly, except that I baked the cake in a 9X13. My boyfriend absolutely loves it and has hade me make it 4 times in the past 3 weeks...

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
Made this in two days (refrigerated separately overnight...i was tired and I started it late). Got absolutely rave reviews last night at a family dinner party. Very pretty! Extremely simple. Used strawberry flavored cream cheese as suggested by another happy customer. Am making again this evening as requested by my significant other. Thanks so much!

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2004
This was the best! This was the first time I've tried to make a chinese dinner, at it complemented the meal very well. I made it exactly according to the directions. Next time, I think I'll use it as just the meal. Thanks!

Basil Tomato Pork Chops

This is very easy to make! The presentation is wonderful; very colorful! I made it for my father, who doesn't like pork, and even he thought it was amazing.

Delicious Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2003
This tasted wonderful! I used 1/2 cup rice to make it thicker, and I did not process the contents in a blender, I left it as is, and it came out absolutely wonderful! This is definitely a recipe that you can have fun with... my father suggested adding fresh, crisp bean sprouts right at the end (mixed in right before serving) to add another texture to it. Thanks!

Mom's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2003
I used this crust when I made apple pie and it is the best pie crust I've ever eaten! Have you ever eaten a pie but left the crust behind because it was dry or without flavor? Not this one! Every bite was eaten. Thanks so much!

Colonial Brown Bread

I made it last night and it came out great! My family looked at me after the first bite and said "It's a keeper!" It definitely is. This is probably one of the easiest breads I've ever made and I'm very happy with the results. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2003
this recipe is great! I followed it exactly and all I get these days is people asking me to make more. I did use loaf pans, and I only had to use 2, not 3. I can't wait to bring it to our Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks!

Garden Herb Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2003
This recipe was amazing! This was the first time I've ever made bread completely from scratch and it came out beautifully! The presentation is lovely and my family immediately demanded more, after it was gobbled up in less than an hour! This has very quickly become a family favorite. Thanks so much!
