I learned to cook on my electric stove in my first apartment. I still swear that cooking on an electric stove is better than cooking on the gas stove I have now! Baking is my first passion, but I enjoy cooking dinner for friends and family too. When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm being a mommy to my sweet little girl, being a wife to my hubby, and running my home-based business. I can also be found surfing the internet or curled up on the world's most comfortable couch (lucky me - it's right in my living room!) with a good book. Anything from scratch, desserts, slow-cooker recipes. Not much to speak of. Pulling off Christmas cookies and treats with a tempermental oven. Gimme a break, I was pregnant! That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it! :)
