Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Yum! Easy recipe, quick to assemble and everyone enjoyed it! My husband said I could make that anytime. I added a little garlic to the mix. I layered the potatoes and cheese sauce. I did bake with the tin foil on but removed for the last 10-15 minutes and that helped get a golden edge and top. Thanks! A keeper!

Strawberry Freezer Jam

This was easy and turned out great. I would have chopped up the strawberries up a little more next time so they aren't as big. Nice way to enjoy summer berries this winter!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Well, I followed the recipe exactly as it was given and the dough is great. My son wouldn't leave it alone. The cookies bake up beautifully and they taste ok. My husband tried one and couldn't believe there was peanut butter in them. You don't really taste it. I know people suggested changes, but I wanted to try it as it was given. I would maybe look for a recipe with more peanut butter in it or adjust this one.

Donut Muffins

They were very good and the small mini muffin size is dangerous. You just keep munching. When I made them today they didn't brown evenly in the oven but that could be due to our weather here. One you dip them in the butter/sugar mixture they look nice. Will be making these again!

Garlic Chicken

This was very good and we will make again. It was great for a quick meal. Unfortunately we were out of bread crumbs (how does that happen!), so I got out the Cuisinart and crushed saltine crackers in its place. That worked just fine. Will need to try the original recipe sometime. Served with buttered parmesan noodles and fresh green beans.

Cheesy Ranch Chex® Mix

Made this for the football game and everyone loved it. I would make it again - I followed the recipe as is. It to me wasn't a WOW recipe, but it was quick and easy. Good for a quick take along to any get together.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake II

My mom recommended this recipe. We shredded the zucchini. We also added slivered almonds on top along with the chocolate chips. The recipe is a fast easy keeper! I brought it in to work and ended up forwarding the recipe to a couple people.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was good and will be a regular with the fall and winter months! My husband CALLED me at work to tell me how good it was smelling after he got home from work. I used one can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of celery soup. I also used a can of chicken broth instead of the water, which made it a little salty. Will try with the water next time or sodium reduced chicken broth. I thought the broth would add flavor. It did. We then used Grands Biscuits on top - my husband cut them up and put them on about an hour before we ate and it was wonderful! Veggies on the side. A nice easy work night recipe!

Pepperoni Caesar Salad

This was great! I mixed all the ingredients before serving and actually let people put their own dressing on it (didn't know how much they wanted). It was a nice summer recipe and I will make this again. Not only for get together events but just lunch! Thanks!

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

This was great and easy! Nice to be able to put together the night before. I used a large package of pudding and a little more butter than called for in the recipe. I also cut the dough into smaller pieces so you had more to pull apart. I layered the dough and ingredients so all pieces had the good stuff, no dry bread. The family loved it!

Corn Dog Casserole

This was ok. It actually tasted like a corn dog when we put a lot of ketchup on it, but other than that, I really wasn't too thrilled with the taste. Not sure if I would make this again or just have corn dogs!

Made for a party we had. They looked great, but didn't taste the best. Maybe it was the champaign. We then tried lemon lime soda, but that was too sweet. Fun, but a waste of good jell-0 shots!

Unbelievable Chicken

Made the recipe with everything as stated but the lime juice. I didn't have that on hand. Kept the mixture and chicken in the refrigerator over night for almost 24 hours. Grilled and it was great! Just a mild flavor, just enough to give the chicken a boost from regular old grilled chicken. I will make again!

French Onion Soup I

Awesome recipe! My favorite restaurant just sold to new owners and changed the menu. No more French Onion Soup. So, we made our own! This was great and I did what a couple other people suggested and added parsley, thyme, worcestershire sauce, and garlic. I also really the the onions go on the stove and carmelize. My dad had never had the soup and couldn't believe how good it was. This recipe is a keeper! Thanks!
