At my husband's last duty station I would make cookies for his entire shop, well the word spread and I would end up making cookies for a lot of people. The guys would say these are better than my mom's!
Did I mention I like to make cookies! :)

When I was first married I tried making a garlic chicken. I will just say the dogs would not even eat it.
