I'm a mom and grandma. I started cooking at about 7, helping mom can fruit and gardening. I love to try new recipes, but have a picky husband, who keeps me from trying some new recipes. I love to cook desserts and new salad recipes. I'm a big casserole person and love everything in one pot We cook a lot of old fashioned foods, country cooking, I guess is what you'd call it. When I first got married, I made a cheese souffle. I wanted to impress my husband with my cooking abilities. The souffle turned out perfect. It didn't fall! My husband ate the whole thing. Then he said what else is there to eat? That was good but it was all air! Needless to say, I never baked another souffle for my meat and potatoes husband.
