5 stars, this recipe was super simple and relatively quick for the stove top method. I followed this recipe to the letter and it was awesome. It took about 2 1/2 on the stove top, then I took the pork out and pulled it apart with two forks as suggested by other reviewers and then returned the pork to the sauce. Because I like a thicker sauce I cooked the sauce uncovered till I got it to reduce to the thickness I like, no cornstarch required :) Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker London Broil

I give this recipe 5 stars becuase of how easy it is to prepare. I didn't use the onion soup mix, instead I used fresh onion, potato, and carrot. I also used a family sized can of cream of mushroom. Per the suggestion of another rater I also added red wine. I wasn't sure about the recipe at first becuase of the odd smell when it first started to cook, but it turned out awesome.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

I've made this recipe several times and everyone always loves it. The reason I give it four stars is becuase the texture is better the day its made instead of the day before. So now I just make it the day I want to serve it:)

Shepherd's Pie

I love this recipe because it's simple and so easy to adjust with what you have in the pantry. I've cooked it as is and have varied from time to time depending on what I have on hand. I love to use fresh mushrooms and tend to use two of the prepacked and presliced ones found in the veggie section of the store. We've use ground turkey, ground lamb and ground beef. All varieties taste great. And I always add shredded cheese on top.

Banana Banana Bread

This is a good base for banana bread, you can make it as the recipe is written or get creative and add nuts, chocolate chips, and a variety of other spices. Anyway you bake it the recipe is very good and super simple. I did have to adjust the cooking time. I baked a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It came out crusty on top (which is the way we like it) and moist in the middle.

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

I made this recipe almost exactly as written, the only difference was I replaced 1 cup of white sugar with brown sugar. This bread is moist and wonderful, after 50 minutes the toothpick came out clean. Thanks for the recipe!

Carrot Cake III

This was the best carrot cake I've had, the only thing I changed was the sugar. I used one cup white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar and I baked it in two 9" round pans for the shortest recommended time. Because of other reviews I cut back on the sugar for the icing. I used 3 cups powdered sugar. It was perfect, it had the right amount of sweetness combined with the cream cheese. Mmmmmmmm!

Chicken Marsala

We love this recipe. I haven't tried it with the sherry just the marsala and it is excellent. I double the mushrooms because we can't enough of them! This is a quick and easy recipe. It's become a regular at our house.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

We loved this eggnog! It was well worth the work. We are big drinkers in my family and even we thought it was kind of strong. So next time I'll cut back on the rum:)Thanks for the great recipe, I'll never buy the stuff you find at the grocery store again.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Yummy icing! I had to add an additional teaspoon of milk but other than that it was perfect, it spread nicely and the outcome is shiny and smooth icing.

Mushroom Risotto

We love this recipe, it is absolutely delicious. I've never needed the 5 cups of broth about 3 cups is enough. But I follow the rest of the recipe to the letter and it's always a hit with dinner guests.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

I served this dish at a small gathering and everyone loved it! The only thing I will change next time is the amount of bread crumbs. It was a bit too much, but still delicious.

Stuffed Peppers for Two

This recipe was easy to prepare and delicious, I will definately make it again. I didn't have instant rice so I cooked regular white rice on the side and then added it to the mix. It came out great. Thanks.
