Super Easy Stir-Fried Cabbage

A very versatile recipe! Add a small onion, or a 1/4 cup of sesame seeds; substitute mirin, rice vinegar, or apple cider vinegar; use sesame or peanut oil; add a teaspoon of white sugar, or a teaspoon of ground red pepper. Minor changes in this dish can affect the flavor in subtle ways to make it the perfect custom side dish to any Asian entrée! An excellent recipe! 5 STARS*****!

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Don't add the chicken to the sauce right away. Let the sauce thicken and reduce a little, then toss the chicken just to coat it. If you don't do it this way, the chicken soaks up all the sauce and you'll write a review saying you needed to triple the sauce... I didn't have any honey, so I substituted brown sugar, I used sesame oil in the wok, and omitted the 5-spice (I hate that stuff). It had a good sesame flavor, not very sweet or sticky like at the fast food Chinese places in the mall. Served over steamed rice with vegetables on the side. This one is a keeper.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Incredible, easy, and delicious! I added a bit of cinnamon, and used skim milk, but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. It is the best rice pudding I have ever made!

Spinach Garlic Pasta

The family loved it. Like everyone else here, I also added a can of diced tomatoes. I served baked tilapia w/lemon on a bed of Spinach Garlic Pasta, and it was incredible.

Mandarin Beef Stir-Fry

Excellent! Like some other reviewers, I folded in the mandarin orange slices just before I removed the wok from the heat, and I did add a dash or two of curry powder and red pepper flakes, but this recipe gets 5 stars even without those changes!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This is an awesome slow cooker pot roast recipe! 5 stars with no revisions. For extra credit, substitute beef broth for the water, and brown the roast in a heavy skillet first.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

I would give it 5 stars based on the aroma alone! I had to feed a lot of people and didn't have enough kidney beans to triple the recipe, so I mixed in 1 lb. black beans with 1 lb small kidney beans and 1 lb large kidney beans. Also, had to use turkey sausage (doctors' orders...). With these changes, this recipe is a 5. Without them it would probably be a 7! Thank you, Miami!

Hasselback Potatoes

If you need a potato dish to dress up your dinner plate, these potatoes looked great right out of the oven. But they tasted exactly like a baked potato with butter, salt and pepper ought to taste. I guess I was hoping for more.

Broccoli Beef I

Very good flavor, but the dish didn't look appealing. The sauce - which I thought should have been more like a glaze - turned out to be a thick brown gravy. The dish looked like beef stroganoff. But again, the flavor was excellent. Maybe next time I'll experiment with corn starch instead of flour.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

This is a souper simple, quick and delicious recipe. I made some changes to suit my family's tastes*, but nothing substantial. This recipe deserves 5 stars as written! *no celery, extra chicken, added a handful of cut green beans that I had to use soon
