Down Home Baked Beans

This could be a four or five star recipe if the brown sugar was cut WAY down! It was almost to sweet to eat! It has the makings of a great recipe with some modifications.

Perfect Rhubarb Pie

The name for this recipe is very fitting--it is truly PERFECT Rhubard Pie! Rhubarb Pie is the only pie my husband likes and he said this is the best pie I have ever made for him! Thanks for sharing a great recipe. If I could give it more stars, I would!

Jewish Coffee Cake

Excellent! Very moist and just the right blend of spices. I have also added 1 cup of cinnamon chips to the first layer of the Cinnamon/Sugar/Nut mix. I don't add it to the top, as the chips go hard. As other's have stated, 40 minutes was the right amount of baking time.

Bermuda Spinach Salad

Excellent Recipe! I used 1/2 of a large onion (recipe calls for 1 onion chopped) which was plenty of onion flavor for us. It is a good dressing for a traditional green salad. Thanks for a great recipe.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I made these for a Year Year's Eve party and most people didn't enjoy them. Most said they weren't horrible, just not that great. I have to agree. It was just too much cream cheese taste--needed some additional ingredients to balace flavor.

Steak Tip Marinade

Terrific Marinade! We used it on chicken breasts (marinaded for 2 hours) and was great. We are looking forward to trying it on beef. Thanks for a great marinade recipe. It is a family favorite after just one use!

Garlic Prime Rib

Excellent recipe. I placed the roast on a baking rack inside the roasting pan to avoid the roast "sticking to the bottom". I roasted an 8 lb prime rib roast and it took 1 1/2 hours to reach the 135 degrees that I desired not counting the 20 minutes @ 500 degrees. As the other review mentioned, a meat thermometer is imperative for getting the roast to the desired temperture. Thanks for a great recipe. This recipe is a keeper!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

A local diner serves Hungarian Mushroom Soup as their "featured" soup. Everyone loves it and raves about the recipe. This recipe is as good if not better. (I used button and cremini mushrooms). Thanks for a great recipe.

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

This is truly a cranberry sauce extraordinare! A great blend of flavors and not over powering. My family likes the fact that it is not overly sweet--just a hint of tartness which is perfect for an accompaniment for turkey. Thanks for a great recipes. We will be making it for years to come.
