Raspberry Lemonade Pie
Really good and easy to make pie. The only thing I changed was that I used fresh strawberries rather than raspberries simply because of the availability of them in our store.

Garden Pasta Salad
Great pasta salad! The only things I did different was omit the celery (kid's don't like and I did not have on hand) and for the bell pepper I used red, orange, yellow and green (there was a special last week at the store) and instead of fresh tomatoes I used a can of petite diced. The veggies I did have on hand I added more than the recipe called for but wonderful anyway. Oh .. and the dressing I had on hand and used was the Pesto Italian ... very tasty. I also enjoyed this recipe because the ingredients are items I generally have sometimes with slight variations. I'll be making this recipe often.

Refried Beans Without the Refry
These beans are wonderful! Okay so yes, I did make some slight changes. I reduced the salt to 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt... and because my husband doesn't like onion I have to sneak it into recipes in the form of onion powder ... and then I added a whole chopped seeded jalapeno. I like this recipe because I can use it just like the canned beans and I think these beans have a better flavor than the canned varities. Other people have said that these beans are bland...have you tried the canned beans? They are worse than bland. These beans are the only thing I will use. In fact ... I'm making a double batch so I can store extra in storage bags in the freezer to have on hand for burritos or dip or anytime we are needing refried beans. This is definately a keeper in our house.
