So tasty, easy to make, and easy to adapt! My sons are allergic to soy and cow's milk, as well as coconut, so I had to tweak this--but it was super easy. I just used some goat's milk as a portion of the hot water amount (I think I had about 1/2 to 3/4 cups left in the carton that I used). Then instead of coconut I put in the same amount of dried blueberries. They rehydrated nicely while baking and gave a lovely fruity flavor to the cereal! The nice thing is that the dates (and the blueberries) give this all the sweetness it needs, so there's no need to add all sorts of sugar. I'll be making this again, and I'll probably experiment with other kinds of dried fruits as well.

This was the best slow cooker pork recipe I've ever tasted--possibly the best pork "roast" recipe too! I used a large pork tenderloin I had in my freezer. I added the potatoes and carrots as other reviewers recommended and also salted/peppered the loin and seared it before putting it in. Otherwise I followed the recipe as is, and it didn't need any other tweaking. I served it on top of a tomato lentil couscous boxed mix, which soaked up the juice nicely. My husband and I both cleared our plates completely, and he even commented that it didn't need salt or anything added! I may never use another pork slow cooker recipe besides this one again...

Fantastic, very easy recipe. I couldn't find my onion powder, so I used some garlic powder and dried onion flakes instead, which worked well. It was a moist, delicately flavored dish that absolutely hit the spot. My husband, who loves salmon but is picky about how it's prepared, said this was delicious!
