This was really good. I finally made it after about a year and a half finding this. I made it according to the recipe directions, and the only thing I will change next time is to serve it over fettucine, as my family didn't like the angel hair pasta - it was too thin for the meat. Make this recipe - you will love it!

I made the recipe according to the original directions. It was OK, but not what I expected. I went back and read the reviews and saw some suggestions. Tried it with some of the suggestions (substituted apple juice for the water, cut out the onion, added a tablespoon of flour to the spices for thickening) and it turned out perfect. It has become a family favorite.

Fabulous Cake! It was absolutely wonderful. The only thing I won't do next time is flour the pan - with the generous amount of non-stick cooking spray I used, it wasn't necessary. Definitely a place in my home.
