About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve buffet!
My cooking triumphs
I have finally conquered yeast! I never made yeast breads much, but now I can! Also, I cooked my favorite cake in the world, a Hyde Park Fudge Cake, and it tasted better than the bakery. I swear!

Emily's Easy Sausage and Spicy Tomato Dip
Very tasty. I double it and used 1 regular pork sausage and one 1 pound hot. Served with crackers and chips. Kept it warm in a crockpot. Big office hit!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
Followed recipe exactly first time out. Came out tasty and moist. Husband said it was the best pumpkin bread he'd ever had. I made two larger loafs from it.
