I am the mother of three grown children and two beautiful grandchildren. I cook everyday...mostly comfort foods. I love to bake cakes and cookies especially at the holidays.
My favorite things to cook
Bake cookies and cakes, homemade corn bread, cheesy potato casserole, ham and beans, round steak in onion beef gravy, fish, steak, twice baked potatoes, meat loaf...typical home-cooked food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking hundreds of cookies at Christmas and giving them to family and friends. Steak and twice baked potatoes for special occasions. I make 6 or 7 different kinds of soups for our family Christmas.
