Sorry to leave a poor review. This was far to spicy and greasy for us. Yes I cut down the spices to 1/3 of the recipe and drained the sausage.

Jalapeno Popper Pizza

Love this one !! We did not use the bread crumbs. I'm not sure if I will or not next time. I'm thinking that panko would be a good addition if I do, Maybe the addition of a some crumbled cooked breakfast sausage would also be good.

Caramel Pecan Delight

I had my doubts about this one like a few other reviewers. This is a very good pie, rich and creamy. The texture and taste is very flan-like. Some guests even drizzled a small amount of chocolate syrup on their portion.

Good. I added the juice of one lemon and also the zest, 1 sugar free lemon pudding and 1 sugar free cheesecake pudding mix, and also Cool Whip Lite.

Mulligatawny Soup I

I changed this very little--- absoutely yummy!!!!!!. I used 1 small sweet onion and a small fuji apple and probably about 5 cups of broth and then added a little water toward the end of the cooking time because it was a little to thick. My rice of choice was jasamine. I also used about 6 or 7 chicken tenderloins.

Coconut Pound Cake

Sorry this sounded like it would be moist and we LOVE coconut. I bake quite a lot what did I do but make this for Christmas Eve. I have found rating are usually right but not on this one. The taste was good but it was so dry and crumbly, when you tried to slice it --- forget it -- one big mess. One more point, I used unsweetened coconut and it was still sickly sweet. Sorry !

Fierro Chicken

Very Good! I used 1 whole can green enchilada sauce, a small can of mushrooms and light cream. The only thing I would change next time is to brown the chicken with a little garlic powder,salt and pepper.
