Feta Cheese Foldovers

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I got pretty great reviews from this! I made mine with the tomato basil feta. Only suggestion I would make is if you want them in triangles make sure you cut the squares perfectly or it won't work! I had to make some of mine into squares but they still tasted great!

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
First off AMAZING! I made mine into cupcakes. It made exactly 24. Most of the reviews I read said to add applesauce in place of some of the oil, but since I didn't have any on hand I just added 1 cup oil and 1/4 cup water. THey were perfect! I then topped mine with Cream Cheese Frosting II from this site. A must try for the holidays! My inlaws had 2 each!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
WOW!!! Amazing!!!! I halved this recipe for my family cause I definitely didn't need the 16 servings worth! I used a 2 1/2 qt baking dish, 2 tortillas thick for each layer, omitted the olives by personal preference and holy moly was it good!!! My family loved it!!!! This will definitely go in the rotation! My husband added a little bit of hot sauce and sour cream, and devoured 2 huge helpings! Also 10 stars on easy-ness!!!

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This was awesome!!! When I can get my dh, 6 year old and 15 month old all to devour it, its a keeper!! I added ALOT more asiago to it, and seasoned my thinly sliced chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and italian seasoning before grilling. At the end to just me and my dh's plates, I added a bit more salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to give it that extra kick!! Sooo yummy!

Sausage Balls

These were devoured by my family! I had to cook mine for about 20 or so minutes, and next time I will not add as much cheese cause there was plenty left over!!! Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
I made one of Paula Deans cheesecakes, and she said to use a storebought crust, which I'm not too big of a fan of, so I used this and it turned out perfect!! I followed the ingredients to the tee! I used one package of the graham crackers, put them in the food processor along with the sugar and crumbled them up. I then added my butter and processed some more till it was all perfect, then pressed into my 9 in pan and baked for 7 minutes! Great!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
I'm rating this 5 stars because my dh, 6 year old daughter, and 13 month son all devoured it, and when I can get all of them to eat it, it's a keeper!! I on the other hand didn't find it all that flavorful. I will definitely make again, but saute some garlic into it. I also added some cooked bacon in it, which added a nice flavor.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
This was pretty good! I halved the recipe since I didn't need that much, and it worked well. I used the no boil noodles, and fresh spinach. It was pretty good, but I think next time I might go with the alfredo sauce!

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
Yummy!!! I made a few of the suggested changes! I found the leanest bacon I could find to cut down on the grease/fat. I used a seasoned can of tomatoes which had basil/oregono in it. I drained most of that. I then put the spinach in with the tomato/bacon/garlic mixture and let it wilt like that. I saved about a 1/2 cup of the pasta water to give the pasta a little bit of liquid, and added parmesean and feta cheese and mixed it all in. Talk about flavorful..this will definitely be a normal in my house! Even my 13 month old ate it!!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Holy cow this was good!!!! I had 3 bananas that needed to be used, so I decided upon this recipe! I altered the recipe by using as stated above 3 bananas instead of two, I sifted the dry ingredients, added pecans and chocolate chips, then sprinkled a cinamon sugar mixture on the bread loaf pan, then sprinkled the same mixture on top after I put the batter in. Baked for one hour and AMAZING!!!

Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
This was sooo good!!! I made ours on hoagie rolls rather than a whole loaf and it worked out perfect! It was perfectly spicy for us (I guess it just depends on the type of sauce you use). This will definitely be made again and again! OH, and I didn't use the red peppers out of personal preference!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
WOW!! This was good. I'll put it this way..when my picky PICKY 6 year old eats it, I know I've got a winner! I prepared my shrimp then put them in the fridge for about an hour, then fried them up. They cooked up beautifully! I used one of the other reviewers suggestions for the dipping sauce, and added 1/2 cup orange marmalade, 2 tsp dijon mustard, 1 tsp horseradish, and a squeeze of honey. I was really worried about the combination but it was delicious!!! A must try!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: May 30, 2009
This was amazing! My DH who is usually not a breakfast eater gobbled it up! I left out the raisins and nuts because I have a picky family and it was still amazing. I think I might take other reviewers suggestions next time and add some of the brown sugar/butter mixture in the middle and on top! I used two cans of grands buttermilk biscuits and it was the perfect amount!

Skinny Fries

SOOO good! I used others suggestions and coated mine in olive oil, then put a generous amount of salt and pepper on it. I then lightly sprinkled it with seasoning salt. They were really good, and I didn't feel as guilty eating so many!

Feta Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
I don't really know if this is fair for me to rate this, since I basically just used it as an idea, but this is how I made this basic recipe spectacular!! I used two baking potatoes, peeled and cubed. I then put the potatoes and 2 cloves of garlic and boiled them for 15 minutes. I then mashed them with about 2 oz tomato basil feta, 2 handfuls shredded asiago, almost 1 cup of half and half, tablespoon of butter, tablespoon of cream cheese and salt and pepper. Yes, I know it's completely different but it turned out so flavorful. I needed to use what i had on hand, and I was able to!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
My guests loved this!!! I didn't use the lettuce or sliced olives by personal preference. Also make sure to drain your salsa as much as possible because it can make it a little runny. My guests didn't seem to mind though!!!! Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
I was really looking foward to this recipe since it got soo many good reviews. It just didn't do much for us. It seemed like too much pasta and not enough sauce, and not enough spices. I might try again with less pasta, and no condensed soup..but who knows!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This was a pretty good (like it says) basic recipe. I put tons of seasonings into the meat while it cooked, and mixed it with mozarella and cheddar cheese in the middle and on top when I baked it. It was a little dry for me. I defintely want to try it again, but maybe more sauce, more cheese (maybe pepperjack) and more spices!!! Thanks for the recipe!
