This was my first trifle. It was very good. I used one bowl chocolate cake III from this site and I used real whipping cream and mousse (1st time too). I shredded dark chocolate on the layers and top. This was very easy and very good.

When I decided to make this pie I thought to myself, if this does not turn out this will be the last pie I make. AND it turned out great. I used the suggestion of mixing the sauce with the apples, and only using 6 apples. I used red delicious and granny smith. It was really good! Thank you for a recipe that inspired me to keep trying!!
