Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
Very good chicken, I added crushed garlic to the sour cream and used rice krispies and peanut butter crunch because I had them on hand. I willl definitly make chicken this way again. Thanks for the recipes Mae. <3

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
Very good. I baked it in a non-stick tube pan. It came out like a huge doughnut. I also brushed with an egg wash before baking, covered with foil half way through baking and buttered the top when finished baking and still hot. Thanks for the recipe!

Boiled Fruitcake

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
This was so good right out of the oven. I wanted to wait but it smelled so good. I got 6 small loaves out of one recipe. I omitted the citrus peel and added dates and raisins for the dried fruit. I will be making this again.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
Very Yummy! I used Jimmy Dean Sage sausage and I could not buy just a Turkey liver so I made my own broth out of turkey legs and then bake the legs along with the stuffing (in separate pans). I also used Pepperidge Farms cubed stuffing. I will defiantly be making this stuffing again. Thanks for the recipe.

Cream Soup Base

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
This is a great base for a soup. I did not add the chicken bouillon because I was adding fresh Gulf scallops. I added fresh flat leaf parsley, 1/4 of a jalapeno, green onion and the fresh scallops. It was a fast and delicious lunch. Thanks for the recipe.

Ratatouille

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I made this with yellow squash instead of eggplant. It was so good, they asked for it the next night. The second time I made it with eggplant, we liked the yellow squash better, but this is still a great recipe.

Kolaches From the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
I made these as dinner rolls without a bread machine. The dough was so easy to work with and they were very good. The only thing I didn't have was the powdered milk.
