Steak and Ale Pie with Mushrooms
We enjoyed this. Five year old wouldn't touch it but 8 and 2 year old enjoyed it. I thought the ale flavor was a bit strong (I don't like beer) so next time I will do 1/2 beer, 1/2 beef broth. I'm sure DH will be happy to 'dispose' of the extra beer! Did add carrots.

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole
Made with rotini and 1/2 package onion soup mix. Was okay - we ate it but no one loved it.

Spice Balls
Thank you for this excellent recipe! It was quick, easy and tasty! The kids (7,4,1) were able to help. Got a "Mom, those doughnuts were excellent" and a spontaneous hug from my 4 yr old son!!
