About this Cook
I love to see smiles on the family and friends faces when they eat what I have cooked. My greatest influence for cooking was my grandmother.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite foods to cook are Chicken, pork, beef. My favorite recipes are my own. I adapt my own recipes from recipe books(I read the recipe and delete some items and add my own).
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family eats anything I put in front of them. If they don't like what I've fixed they tell me, but they eat it anyway.
My cooking triumphs
Making a Cheesecake for the first time! Canning vegetable from the garden properly!
My cooking tragedies
1. not canned some veggies properly the first time. 2. forgot some ingredients in one of my dishes (I got sidetracked and forgot what I was doing!) 3. added too much spices to some of my dishes. 4. used the wrong flour when making bread machine bread. 5. improperly measured regular yeast when making bread machine bread. (it came-out flat bread). everyone laughed!

Lemon Sauce II
This was so easy to make! I made it to go with my Bread Pudding. The look on my taster's face when they took the first bite said it all.."Mmmmmmm!" Will be making this more often. (already been requested to make more)

Grandma's Famous Salmon Cakes
This is an easy recipe to make. I used minced onion instead of a fresh onion. And I added about 1 cup of flour to keep the mix together. My family really enjoyed this recipe instead of the original one I have been using for years.

The Best Zucchini Dip Ever
Very good recipe for dipping bread. Goes well with stew. Family said this dip "rocks". I used minced garlic in place of fresh garlic chopped. Worked just as well. This recipe has a sweet taste which complements bread and meat dishes.
