About this Cook
I'm spanish and 2 yrs ago I married an Egyptian which made me develop a very broad palate from exotic to homestyle foods. I love spicy foods and foods that make nice presentations. I hope to become a better cook and thanks to this site, I just might accomplish that.
My favorite things to cook
I love to fry fish. I make my own bread crumbs using bread crumbs, flour, parmesan cheese, parsely and spices.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our BBQ's are so good and are always a cause to bring us closer and have fun while cooking.
My cooking triumphs
Just yesterday (01/24/05) I made the BEST Tandoori chicken. I've been trying to perfect any good Indian recipe and I finally did. It was SO tasty and spicy, just how I like it and served it with Mujadarrah (lentil rice) and salad.
My cooking tragedies
Lets see...My meatloaf was such a disaster, I'm scared of ever trying to make another one again.

I halved the recipe and then regretted it cuz they were gone in 5 minutes! This recipe's A-KEEPER.

Tea Cakes
WoW! I normally don't rate recipes but this one is AWESOME. Simple, delicious...reminicient of Madelines. You could put them in a cockle shell mold and its a beautiful treat for tea parties. Will do over again and again, thanks!
