Tasty Lentil Tacos

ok - this is probably the best recipe I have. No meat (good for the environment), low fat (good for the waistline), inexpensive (good for the pocketbook) high protein content.....and my kids (even the picky one!) gobbled it like nobodies business! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this recipe!

Apple Crisp II

I didn't read enough reviews - and when I went back, they were right. Leave out the water. Mine came out very runny. I also find it very, It was also way to sweet for me. I don't think I have ever said that before! Seriously though - I would cut the sugar in the first part by at least half. My husband and kids gobbled it up though....

I was pulling out an old recipe and thought 'ah hah! I finally have a recipe I can post on all recipes that will knock their socks off!' but alas - someone else had the recipe too. This is without a doubt one of my all time favorite (if not THE favorite) cookie recipe. Crunchy AND chewy! YUMMMMMMM

Traditional French Canadian Tourtiere

This is a great, great recipe. The flavor is just amazing. My only advice is DON'T make the full recipe! I did and it took me days. Yes, I now have 7 tourtiere's in my freezer for the winter but I almost lost my mind too! I would half it.

Butternut Squash and Spicy Sausage Soup

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Well - in typical form I had to get creative w/ some of the ingredience - just white wine instead of Marsala and German mustard instead of Dijon. It was seriously fantastic - My husband and I barely left any for the kids *L* I am making it this weekend for a dinner party - Thank you Koala Girl!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Really Really Good and it smelled like a piece of heaven. My family gobbled it and then were ticked off at me when I used the remainder for soup - they wanted me to leave the dregs for picking. Highly Recommend!

Incredibly good - I used apple butter instead of apple jelly because my darling husband got it mixed up at the store and it was still incredible. Definitely a keeper.

Caribbean-Marinated Shrimp and Scallops

I made this recipe with a seafood medley that was supplied by my local fish monger. It turned out quite lovely - wonderful on salad for a light but satisfying lunch. I can't say it was mind blowing but was a very good, very solid recipe.
