Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

These were so good!! My go to recipe for mashed potatoes from now on. Easy, simple, and delicious!! Was a hit at Christmas dinner! Will make again soon!

Fruit Salad Dessert

This was very good. The sauce was a little runny, but it was still good. I added cherries for more color. Next time I think I will add bananas too.

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

This was a very tasty, filling, healthy meal! I paired this up with brown rice and it was very good. Seasonings were good, did not have to add the jalepeno since we like our beans mild. Hubby added lots of cheese to his but that is because he loves cheese on everthing! Will make again.

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

These were sooo good! We also quadupled the ingredients except for the two cups of pumpkin seeds. The flavor was very good, kept going back for more! The best pumpkin seed recipe I have found.

Angel Hair Pasta with Lemon and Chicken

Considering how easy this was to make, I am giving this recipe 5 stars. It was tasty! Both my husband and sister-in-law enjoyed it a lot. I baked my chicken breasts with garlic salt and pepper, and I also used whole wheat angel hair pasta. I served it with broiled tomatoes and garlic bread. Next time I think I will add some sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms, and perhaps a little bit more lemon and a splash of white wine to give it a little more flavor, but the flavor was good and light as is. Will definetely make again!

Turkey Cabbage Rolls

This meal was very good. I seasoned the turkey with garlic powder, pepper, and seasoned salt. For the sauce, I used only 1/2 cup water with the tomato paste and it seemed to make it a nice, chunky sauce. I also used brown rice as well. It tastes good and is healthy! Next time I make this I will probably add some white wine to the turkey and a little tabasco sauce.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

After reading the rave reviews, I decided I needed to try this. Sorry, my husband and I did not care for this at all. The soup itself was quite bland and the peanut butter gave it a very odd taste to us. My husband and I love peanut butter, but not this meal. Oh well, glad others like it so much, I am glad I got to try it once.

Cheesecake Cookie Cups

This was very good. Preparation was super easy. I made these for a new year's get together and a lot of people at the party raved about them. I followed the recipe exactly. Even though most raved, I myself thought it might be just a little too sweet. I will make these again, but for a party, not just for myself. :) Thanks for the recipe.

Best Burger Ever

These were easy to prepare and tasted very good. We have made them twice now with our new grill. It's easy to eat healthy when it tastes this good. :) I don't even like spicy foods, but the tobasco gives it just a little zing...I am usually very sensitive to spicy foods, but I am glad I did not omit it, wonderful flavor. We'll be making these again soon.

Dump Cake II

This was a very easy dessert, and very tasty! A friend couldn't believe how simple it was to make when I told her. I took other's suggestions and added 1/2 cup of walnuts. It gave it some crunch, which we all loved. We had it hot, then the leftovers were refrigerated and we enjoyed it the next day cold. Great recipe!

The Best Lemon Bars

I finally found the perfect lemon bar recipe! Thanks to MommyFromSeattle's suggestion of using 2/3 c lemon juice it provided the right about of tart in the custard and the sweet buttery, goodness of the crust! I have already made these bars twice and have already been giving out the recipe to those who requested it. Thanks!

Cognac Shrimp

Sorry, I followed the recipe exactly, and my husband and I did not care for this at all. The cognac really overpowered the dish, that is all you could taste. The sauce was also extremely thin and needed to be thickened up. Sorry, I won't be making this again.

Excellent dish. Hubby went back for thirds, good thing it is low calorie! :) I paired it up with some brown rice. I also sprinkled basil onto the tomatoes. I will be making this again real soon. Thanks for the recipe.

It's Chili by George!!

Great chili!!! I used ground turkey and like others, used cannced sliced tomatoes rather than the tomato juice. Very hearty and tasty! My hubby and his friend went back for seconds and thirds. A keeper for sure!

Peanut Butter Cake II

I must say, this was a pretty good cake. I added cream cheese to the frosting. People kept scraping the frosting off and eating it...hehe. My husband loves peanut butter, and enjoyed this cake on his birthday. Thanks.
