Deviled Eggs

Deeeeelicious!!!! My go to recipe from now on. The only thing I did different was I did not add the salt..it was perfect without it. Made breakfast for dinner by making these and frying up some bacon!!! Simple and great! Will have again and again!

Eggplant Supper Soup

Great soup!!! I used olive oil to brown the meat instead of vegetable oil, and omitted the macaroni and carrots to make it low carb. Unfortunately, when I went to drain the meat I accidentally dropped the lid and half of my meat fell down the sink!!! Bummer!!! Even with that unfortunate mishap, this dish was great!!! Husband said it is worth a repeat! I would have to agree! I'm sure it will be just as good with all the of the meat in it! Haha! Will make again!

Pork Marsala

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Just.....wow!! I followed the recipe exactly...and this was so delicious!!! It ranks in the top 10 best meals I have ever made hands down. It was so easy to make as well!! I paired it up with some brussel sprouts and red potatoes and green beans! Next time I'll add some brown rice to help soak up the rest of that delicious sauce!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Roasted Chickpeas

These are awesome. I used 1 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and baked them at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Then I added cajun seasoning and garlic salt. Yummy!! Great alternative to chips or popcorn and much healthier! Will make again!

Fresh Broccoli Salad

This salad was great!! I followed the advice of others and made the dressing ahead of time and added the red onion to it so the onion could settle down a bit. I substituted sunflower kernels for almonds and craisins for the raisins because those are what I had on hand. Served it at a church gathering and many requested the recipe. Thanks!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

My husband wanted pineapple upside-down cake as his birthday cake this year. I had never made one before, and I found this recipe. I purchased a 12 in cast iron skillet and tripled the recipe. It was perfect!!! Soooo good!!! 13 people were at the party and they all really enjoyed it. Loved the addition of pecans. Will definitely make again!!! Thanks!

Super Easy Mardi Gras King Cake

This recipe was great! Why go spend a lot of money on a premade King Cake when you can make a tastier and cheaper one at home?? This is a keeper for sure. I used the Pillsbury Cinnamon Twists..it came with icing and I did not use food coloring, only the colored sugared sprinkles. Tasted great! Will definitely make again!

Sausage Pasta

Had some sausage from a fundraiser and was looking for recipes and came across this one. I knew from the ingredients that my husband would love this, and I was right! I used a can of Italian diced tomatoes and cut the cheese two 2 cups. The olives really complimented the dish well. I served it hot and it was great! Will make again sometime!

Fudge

This recipe literally took me five minutes to do. The fudge tastes awesome! Like others, I used all milk chocolate chips and it was fantastic. I made the fudge for my work Christmas party tomorrow, I'll be lucky if I still have any left before I make it over there! Haha! Thanks for the recipe. P.S. Shh!! Don't tell my mom, but this fudge tastes better than hers and is a lot less work! :)

Stuffed Jalapenos III

At first, I thought I had a disaster on my hands. I checked the peppers only after 30 minutes baking at 400 degrees and already my bacon that was wrapped on the bottom was burning, and some of the bottoms of the peppers were so soft they were almost liquid-like. The cream cheese had practically browned and it was crispy like. I tasted one and it tasted allright, and my husband liked them...but there were some I had to throw away because the bacon was burned too bad. I checked it only after 30 minutes, if I had waited till 45 minutes after I probably would have wound up pitching the entire batch away. I think I am going to have to reduce the temp on the oven as well as watch it more closely. From what I observe though, most of the reviews did not have this problem? I have had these peppers before when my best friend made them, and they were amazing. I hope to achieve that next time.

The Best Potato Salad

Spicy Deviled Eggs

I surprised my husband by making these tonight. Oh my goodness...they were so good! I halved the recipe and only made 6 eggs worth...my husband and I ate them all within 5 minutes. This is a keeper for sure. The only thing I did different was add just a little more of the mayo, and omitted the olives. Great recipe, will use again and again!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

Ham and Beans

This was sooooo good!! I used leftover honeybaked ham from Christmas. Since the ham itself was so sweet, I only added 1 tbsp of brown sugar and since I don't like beans hot, I reduced the cayenne pepper by half. Will make again!
