I love to cook. I'm still learning but I'm getting better at it. I'm a newlywed and I am enjoying cooking lots of dishes for my husband. He loves being the guinea pig for testing out new meals! I also have a really fat cat named Taz. I am also a pediatric nurse. I like to cook a whole variety of different foods. From stir fry to lebanese food to enchiladas. My mom cooked the same things over and over again when I was growing up, and I like to be different and try new things. We always make pecan short bread cookies for Christmas. Corn cassarole is also a hit during the holidays. Cheese cake, stir fry, and stuffed lebanese zucchini come to mind first. They are very yummy. I plan on adding the zucchini recipe to this site once I tweak it just a tad. :) One time, I accidentally put a plastic lid over my baking pan while I was baking pork chops. The plastic melted and the smell was horrible! The porkchops were ruined and I just had to throw the whole pan out. It took forever to get the smell out of the apartment, and the platic out of the stove. Never again will I do that!
