Mozechilli Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
Yum, that was about all we could say while eating! I added onion & garlic to the ground beef while browning! I didn't have any mozzarella cheese, so I used the bag of shredded Italian cheese I had. I made it early in the day and put it into the fridge - with a lid on it, all mixed together. Heated it up a little bit longer and we couldn't be happier! What a simple and delicious meal!!! Thank You LaDonna for sharing!

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
Absolutely the easiest to make and the tastiest to eat! My chicken always comes out dry, not this time! I used what I had, boneless/skinless breasts, Panko and Emeril's Essence. Rubbed the chicken with some mayo and shook in the bag with the coating mix. Baked at 375* as someone else recommended. I used my broiler pan so the heat would get underneath the chicken and also turned it after 30 minutes. We all thank-you for something so easy and so good!!! DH said this is a keeper! (I want to now try it w/pork chops!!! Mine are usually leather like!!!)

Mexican Corn on the Cob (Elote)

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
We first learned about eating corn this way at a church fair. Now I have the exact, and simple directions. We so enjoyed it last night with the new bumper crop of corn this year!!!Thank you for sharing! ***Oh you don't have to use grilled corn, boiled/simmered works fine! The cheese is now found in most grocery stores, found ours at a Walmart Supercenter!

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I followed the directions except for using frozen store bought meat balls. In all honesty, I felt it was a bit too thick and lacked in flavor - somewhere! I will try it again tho using maybe Golden Mushroom soup with the chicken, the golden has a richer taste to it. Thanks for the easy prep dish Jessica! :)

Crispix* Krispies* Original Mix

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
This is the best! By far tastier and cheaper than Chex mix!!! Don't use garlic salt or onion salt, instead use garlic powder and onion powder. The nuts and pretzels add just the right amount of salt. Be careful though, highly addicting!!! :)

Quick Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
I halved the recipe, so I used the combo can of Cream of Chicken & Mushroom. It was delicious, but I did add about 3/4 tsp of curry and topped it with crushed potato chips. Oh and to make things easier, I mixed it all together in the casserole dish! It's a keeper!

Slow Cooker Green Beans, Ham and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I followed the ingredients, except everything I used was from a can, but not the onion. I drained and rinsed the green beans, enough water to cover and added almost a tablespoon of ham base. Simmered with the onion, ham steak (half), diced and 2 cans of potatoes. I think the ham base really added to the flavor, DH & I both enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing!

Cabbage Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
I added a few more carrots and celery just because I like them!!! This soup was so good, I am so accustomed to adding tomatoes I kept looking at it and wondering - should I or shouldn't I. Didn't, but I did add 1 serrano chili for the added heat/flavor. Thanks for such a great and easy recipe!

Zucchini Patties

They were good, however I probably should have used more cheese! Instead of chopping the onion, I grated it with the zucchini, with our bumper crop of zucchini, I definitely will make these again!!!

I took Kaye's advice and used Jiffy cornbread mix! DH didn't like any of it, DS liked everything except the hot dogs and I thought it was only OK. Sorry!

Pork Chops to Live For

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
***I admit,*** I changed it up due to what I had on hand! Frozen pork chops, no onion and no milk. I had 1 can of mushroom soup, so I added a can of 'golden' mushroom, no milk so I used the larger can of chicken broth. Cooked on high for about an hour then to low for about 5 more hours. I served it over rice and no one said a word while eating - except, YUM!!!!!!!!! Thanks for such a great recipe - even though I did change it due to what I had on hand!

Easy One-Step Spaghetti

Didn't turn out like I wanted it too. I'll try again, but maybe I'll use thin spaghetti instead of regular! I added garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper before adding the pasta.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
I made it this way using the condensed chicken broth. I felt it was a bit too salty, so this time I'll use the larger can of chicken broth (Swanson's). Oh, I also realized just how much I don't care for the cream of chicken soup - I used only 1 and a can of the cream of celery. This time I'm using a can of cream of chicken & mushroom soup and either celery or plain mushroom! The bisquick dumplings soooooo much better too! Thanks for sharing!

Taco Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I cooked everything in my rice cooker. I used stewed tomatoes instead of tomato sauce, long cooking rice, no olives, added corn instead. After reading most reviews, I only used half a packet of taco seasoning, next time I will use the whole packet (and there will be a next time!!!). One last thing I added - cooked ground beef. Everyone loved it, thanks for such an easy recipe!

Ragu® No Boiling Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
So quick easy to make. Mixing the Ragu & water made the whole dish taste better! You know how sometimes the sauce separates from the pasta? Not when you make it as directed! We really enjoyed the dish and will make again. I did sprinkle in some onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper before baking. Oh and I didn't have any parm, didn't even miss it!

Fried Cabbage and Egg Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
I made it almost as is, but I just had to add a little bit of bacon. I fried up half pound of bacon, drained all but the brown bits and then added about 3/4 stick of butter. I cooked both the cabbage and noodles a little longer than the recipe called for, stirred in the bacon and served. DS loved it as much as I did (DH wasn't in the mood - more for us!!!). Thanks for the easy and delicious recipe!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
Yum, Yum, Yum is about all I can say! I didn't have wine, so as others said, used a 10.75 oz can of chicken broth. I only had plain cream cheese, so no chives. I served it over bow tie pasta and all I could hear was yummmm!!! DH said it was a bit rich, so maybe I'll use a little less cream cheese next time - for him, I thought it was perfect as is!!! NOTE: I did use the Golden Mushroom soup, I don't believe it would be as good using the regular mushroom soup.
