I'm surprised so many folks gave this recipe such a great review. Then after reviewing them, I see all the substitutions and changes and I see why. The recipe as it stands is very bland. I ate one of the 4 peppers and threw the rest out. It might be better using turkey sausage and cheese but I probably won't bother trying again.

This was just OK. I think I would've rather made hot dogs wrapped in ready made dough and had the chili on the side. I probably won't make this one again.

These did seem to be a a lot of work for a side dish but they were SO tasty. I ate half of them this week and froze the other 5 portions. I will make them again!
