Apple Walnut Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

I got rave reviews for this salad at a potluck. I increased cranberries to 1/2C and decreased onions to 1/3C. I also used regular mustard but only 1/2 tsp. and extra virgin olive ol instead of vegetable oil. I used a blender instead of a food processor and it worked fine. A very good dressing that I will make to have on hand for other salads!

Pizza Sauce II

The onions made it too strong of a sauce. It took away from the flavor of the toppings. I like onions but everyone I made the pizza for was against them.

Lemon Blueberry Bread

This was a very good bread but no one was a big fan of the walnuts. I thought they were okay but the nutty flavor was really brought out against the lemony flavor of the bread. I would make it again but without the walnuts.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

This was a big hit with family and friends but make sure you dont over roast the garlic. If the garlic gets too brown, it's hard to mix in the potatoes and it has a burnt flavor. Take the garlic out of the oven when there's a slight touch of brown.
