Frosted Banana Bars
YUM!! I didn't have sour cream so I used Vanilla Greek yogurt and then omitted the vanilla. Made my own cream cheese frosting: 1/2 c. butter, 1 8oz pkg cream cheese, 2 c. powdered sugar. Everyone (both kids and grownups, even my husband) loved them.

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
thanks a bunch for such a great idea! For an even quicker dinner, I've made these "open" (each slice of bread butter side down on the sheet) so that I don't have to turn them. I put ham or turkey on half the bread slices, cheese on the other half and then put them together after taking them out of the oven. I have also found that I can bake them at 350 or 375 with nice results. You could make a nice sandwich in your toaster oven using this recipe's technique. --super!

Candy Cane Cookies I
These tasted pretty much like I remember having when I was a kid. I used 1 cup of butter and no shortening to avoid hydrogenated oils and I think this made mine spread/flatten out a lot and made them more cakey rather than pastry-like in texture. (I mention this only as fyi for anyone else who prefers not to use shortening when baking) But they were yummy!
