Tuna Lime Tostadas
..A deep sea fishing trip resulted in a freezer full of tuna steaks..One particular recipe I chose left me with a few marinated and grilled tuna steaks which I used to make these tuna lime tostadas/tacos. I just cut the steaks into bite size pieces, used flour tortillas and pico de gallo rather than the corn tostadas and salsa. I also added a diced avocado..Served with drunken fruit slushies...No complaints!

Pain au Chocolat (Chocolate-filled Croissant)
These turned out to be my Saturday baking project... I didn't feel like dusting off my bread machine so I just used my KitchenAid with good results. When you start to read this recipe you will find it necessary to add more liquid to the batter, I added about 1/2 cup more, and used all semi sweet choc chips that I chopped up a bit. Also there is no need to pinch the ends closed. They look prettier if left open... We loved these flaky, crispy, buttery, chocolaty petit pain au chocolat and served with steaming cafe au lait!

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs
...Very Yummy! I included these in my 4th of July menu yesterday..just diced my chicken and veggies and put them all in a ziploc bag with the marinade for 6+ hrs. I didn't have room in my fridge to preassemble so when it was time to fire up the grill I pulled a few guests from the pool and we had these skewered in no time! I highly recommend adding button mushrooms...very good flavor! Thanks Ann Marie.
