this dish was so perfect i cannot begin to convey how much everyone loved it. skipped the pimentos cuz the relish had them. will make again and again

very much like a carrot cake! fluffy and delicious, but next time I will half the recipe and make a smaller cake. after halfway through we were zucchini caked out

I expected more out of this recipe. Everyone loved them, but I personally felt that they were a bit dry. I wish they had been chewier. I think the oats may be the culprit. They seemed to make them a bit gritty. If, however, I like oatmeal cookies, this probably would not have been an issue. I, like others, added an extra 1/2 tsp baking soda. I did not add the grated chocoloate (wasnt on hand). Otherwise good.
