Anything Italian, some Mexican. I love baking brownies and cut-out cookies. Birthday dinners were always a big deal and a huge tradition in my family and I can't wait to carry out that tradition with my own kids some day soon. My first cheese manicotti was a huge triumph for me...everything was homemade except for the pasta tubes. Burnt blueberry muffins in an oven whose thermostat was off...a lasagne whose cheese layer turned into quiche!
