I get the strangest looks and comments when I tell people I took Home Ec from 7th thru 12th grade. I just loved being in the kitchen and still do. All things Mexican especially tamales. I also make a mean spaghetti sauce so I make a double batch to make a few pans of lasagna. My grandfather was a meat cutter and a great cook. He made the best bread stuffing for Thanksgiving. Although he didn't have a recipe I have been able to duplicate it. My spaghetti sauce is really delicious. I have a secret ingredient that I have only shared with my daughter in law. I only make it during the fall and winter months because I simmer it for 6-8 hours. I made chicken and biscuits and accidentally used baking soda instead of baking powder. They were so salty we had to throw them away.
