Excellent Recipe! I used fresh corn, cut the tips off and scraped the milk out of the corn. I used all half and half instead of heavy cream and milk. I also used a slurry of cornstarch instead of flour.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Wonderful, moist muffins. I love this recipe! I added the vanilla and spices per others' suggestions and I made five times the batch to use up extra bananas! I made some mini muffins and decreased the baking time and made giant muffins (6") and increased the baking time to just about 30 minutes. Then, for the last little bit of batter, I put in some semi-sweet chocolate chips and made some chocolate-chip banana muffins! Mmmmm!

Spicy Pear Cookies

This was a perfectly good recipe! I was concerned that the cookie dough was very crumbly, but after adding the nuts and pears (I didn't put raisins in the cookies), the dough came together. I put them in small flattened disks (about 3/4 inch thick or so) on the cookie sheets lined with parchment and they were wonderful! Iced or not, these are a great cookie!

Simple White Cake

I took the suggestion of adding more milk and this cake was wonderful. It is a very sweet cake, but not overly sweet.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Mexican Quiche

This was amazing! I threw it together one morning when I didn't have the normal ingredients for quiche and I was very surprised! The veggies and the meat could easily be swapped out, so this will be my new go-to quiche recipe.

Pecan Sandies

These are amazing! I followed another cook's recommendations and added 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 1/2 teaspoon salt as well as used butter instead of margarine. An amazing flavor and they simply melted in my mouth!

Alfredo Sauce

HOLY STINKING MOLY!!! This is great alfredo sauce. This is a wonderfully thick alfredo that it also good to dip bread in. I took the suggestion of using Gruyere cheese rather than parmesean and it was elegantly rich and creamy.

Ranger Cookies II

This recipe is just like the one that my Grandma and I used to make. I loved going over to her house and asking "Grandma? Do you have Wheaties so we can make Ranger Cookies?" I couldn't find the recipe in her estate, so I am glad to find it here!

Red Enchilada Sauce

This was a wonderful sauce. I was making enchiladas one night and decided I didn't want the sour cream sauce like normal and I found this one. Not too spicy, not too bland. It was just right for me.

Spinach Quiche

This was a wonderful quiche recipe! I must say that it was my first attempt at making quiche at home and I wasn't sure about it. I wondered if it needed any seasoning or anything. It was amazing! I added 3 slices of bacon, cut up and cooked until crisp to the mixture. I didn't have any cheddar cheese on hand, so I cut small pieces of provolone. It made for an amazing breakfast that I sliced and put in the refregerator for more breakfasts throughout the week.

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Thes were amazing. I made them for company which included a vegetarian. I added a bit more carrots and cabbage and kept the rest of the ingredients the same. They were amazing!

Banana Cake Cookies

I took the suggestion of the photo and dipped these cookies in powdered sugar and drizzled them with chocolate. I am not much of a frosting fan, so I omitted the frosting. They were wonderful. Cake cookies are fabulous and this recipe is definitely a keeper!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

I can't rate this fairly. I don't know what happened with these cookies! I followed the recipe to a "T" and they turned out horrible trough the cookie press and melted out like pancakes in the oven. They definitely had too much almond extract. I just can't seem to make good cokies with a cookie press.... *sigh*

Perfect Sesame Chicken

This recipe is incredible!! I have never made a chinese recipe that actually taste like the food you can get in a restaurant. I made the recipe exactly as it said and it tasted amazing. The recipe is well written and easy to follow and includes ingredients that I commonly have in my kitchen. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks!
