About this Cook
Being an Army brat, I've traveled the world trying exotic foods. I'm from a mixed gene pool, my mom is of American/British ancestry and my army dad is Korean. We ate a lot of Korean food growing up in addition to traditional American cuisine.
My favorite things to cook
Some of my favorite things to cook are vegetarian soups, salads, noodle dishes, low-fat but delicious dips, and Bruschetta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Contributing my own vegetarian version of Chap'che for Chinese New Years celebration.
My cooking triumphs
At the age of 11, I made a delicious loaf of Turtle Bread that impressed my parent's dinner guests.
My cooking tragedies
Accidentally substituting the amount of sugar with salt in a peanut butter cookie recipe when I was 10.

Pistachio Fluff Fruit Salad
I cut the fat and calories but keep the taste by using fat free cool whip, fruit cocktail in light syrup, and cut out the marshmallows all together. Try it, it's still really good!!

Korean-style Seaweed Soup
So delicious. I've had this soup with the sirloin substituted with clam and made it really, really good.
